John Clegg – Founder & Trustee

John was one of the founders who dreamed up Summer of Code in 2006. He leads our professional skills bootcamp programme, and sits on the Board.
Amanda Santos – Trustee & Chair

Amanda has been a supporter & advisor to Summer of Tech since 2012, and is currently the Chair of our Board. She brings IT industry, leadership & governance experience.
Jon Macdonald – Trustee

Jon joined the Board in 2016, but he's been a supporter since the very beginning. We're hugely grateful for his leadership & strategy support.
Ruth McDavitt – Trustee

A volunteer & supporter since 2009, Ruth became employee #1 in 2015! She's usually CEO, but on leave from that role in 2019
Trent Mankelow – 2019 CEO

Trent joins as CEO for 2019, with experience from entrepreneur to executive we're excited to have his energy while Ruth's on leave!
Catherine Byrne – GM Operations

Catherine supports the CEO, day to day running of the programme, events and student support.
Ella Halstead – Marketing Coordinator

Ella looks after all marketing campaigns and content for Summer of Tech. Her job is to spread the word about SoT!
Roger Nesbitt – Technical

Roger helped design and build the new Summer of Tech platform, connecting students and employers together.
Tiger Watson – Technical

Following on from his Summer of Tech internship in 2012, Tiger maintains and does feature development for our new Summer of Tech platform.
Cath Randall – Wellington Team

Cath works at WREDA, and she's a key part of the SoT crew. She supports us with industry engagement and support for employers.
Hannah Williams-Stewart – Designer

Hannah joined the team in 2017 as a summer intern and makes us look good.
