Bootcamp Highlights: Intro to Summer of Tech & Biz - AUT

For the Intro to Summer of Tech & Biz event at AUT, Thomas was joined by panel of 3 alumni members who all were very successful going through the program. Grace went through SoT twice where she was able to land an internship with both Spark Interactive and BNZ, Jerry landed one with Rocket Lab, and Mitchell landed one with Orion Health.

Thomas informed us of the structure of the program, what we can get out of participating in bootcamps, and how SoT is there to make the process of making connections with industries and companies less scary. As long as you make an effort in filling out your profile, attending bootcamps and in general just being engaged with the program, you'll have a good chance in making it to the Meet and Greet and the Speed Interviews later in the year.

The alumni panel were open to answering all our questions which included "What workshops were most helpful for them?", "How did you choose which companies you wanted to work for?", and many others that helped us get an idea of how their journey with Summer of Tech and Biz went. This gave us all a great idea of what we should expect in the coming months!
