Bootcamp Highlights - Angular 101 at Trade Me

Guest post by Kimberley HaywardFor this bootcamp we were privileged enough to visit the team at Trade Me!Once there we were helped through an angular tutorial, with various staff assigned to small groups of students helping them to understand how different aspects of the code worked. We were all able to make a good head start on a simple website with some pretty neat features. It is definitely worthwhile for anyone wanting a place to start learning angular.We then got the chance to talk with various staff from Trade Me while enjoying some pizza, hearing what it was like to work at Trade Me, as well as getting some suggestions when it comes to how to talk to professional and portray ourselves well. Events like these where you get to visit workplaces are definitely worth the effort to go to, they are great opportunities to connect with the industry!A massive thank you to Craig and the team, for putting on this extra bootcamp due to student demand.
